rated up to 300 Nm torque. It has assignable I/O with dedicated cable harness.

Digital Control Units

ARES actuators

HEINZMANN actuators operate exclusively electrically. Though bi-directional output is generated electrically, power consumption is kept extremely low. In addition, these actuators are equipped a contactless feedback system.

StG 2040
StG_20_40
StG 2040 / StG 2080 are rotary and direct acting all electric actuators with respectively 6.5 and 11 Nm torque output and either 36° or 68° rotation. Their distinctive features are a compact design and a high dynamic performance.
They are used for diesel and gas engines as well as for dual fuel engines. They are driven by HEINZMANN analogue or digital controls units and HEINZMANN positioner units.
StG 2040 and StG 2080 can be integrated with different throttle valve sizes for hot and cold gas engine applications.
Additional integration of driver electronics turn these actuator models into positioning units suitable for current / voltage and PWM input signals.

StG 2005DP / StG 2040DP are rotary and direct acting all electric actuators with respectively 1 and 6.5 Nm torque output. These actuators are integrated with a conventional block type fuel injection pump. They combine a compact design and high dynamic performance.
They work with digital control units.

StG 6 / StG 10 are gear-type all electric actuators with respectively 6 and 10 Nm torque output and 36° rotation.
Their main application is on industrial diesel and gas engines, which require less than respectively 6 and 10 Nm torque to move the fuel rack or the fuel metering valves.

StG 6 and 10 actuators are driven by HEINZMANN analogue or digital controls, or JANUS positioners.

Size-P inline injection pumps by Bosch are being supplied with the electric HEINZMANN actuator mounted directly on the pump.

 

ARES communication tools

Programming can be done by means of HP 03 hand held programmer, or using the enhanced features of HEINZMANN´s DcDesk 2000 PC program. Both can be used for setup, temporary monitoring and troubleshooting. In addition, the SATURN Remote Communication System is available.
